Project description
Project “Od-Waga”, implemented by the WARTA UWAGI Foundation as part of the Budżet Obywatelski 2025, aims to increase health awareness among adult residents in the area of prevention and treatment of overweight and obesity. The program emphasizes that obesity is a chronic disease requiring comprehensive treatment, and not merely an aesthetic issue.
The activities include thematic panels dedicated to health awareness, prevention and lifestyle, psychological support, physical activity, and first aid principles. The project is implemented through in-person and online workshops, webinars, social media educational campaigns, and an educational platform, as well as a unique motivational component – “7 dni Od-Waga”.
The program is carried out by an interdisciplinary team: doctors, dietitians, psychologists, physiotherapists, midwives, paramedics, trainers, a therapeutic photographer, and a personal branding specialist.
The project aims to develop healthy habits, strengthen motivation, foster body acceptance, and improve the quality of life of adults with overweight or obesity.
